Where can you find cold beers, hot mesquite BBQ, and cool times with all your friends from LAVA, OpenG, and the LabVIEW community at large? At the 2011 LAVA / OpenG NIWeek Bar-B-Q!
This yearly tradition, held on Tuesday evening of each NIWeek, brings together all your best online (and real-life!) friends from LAVA (LabVIEW Advanced Virtual Architects), OpenG (home of LabVIEW's open source community), and even the leaders in NI LabVIEW R&D. Come enjoy great barbecue with great people away from the hustle and bustle of the convention floor. Based on previous attendance seating may be limited, so click the link below to buy your ticket early!
Price: $30 per person. Buy with PayPal in the LAVA announcement thread.
Date: Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011, 7:00 PM (after the NIWeek "Block Diagram Party")
Location: Scholz Garten, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701
Menu: Mesquite BBQ beef brisket, chicken, and pork ribs. Potato salad, pinto beans, coleslaw, and iced tea. There will also be a cash bar, with a great selection of brews. Vegetarian food is available on request – send Justin a Private Message on LAVA for info.
Note: The party is outside this year, so dress for an outdoor event; the environment will be a substantial change from the Austin Convention Center's sub-zero refrigeration.
